The Learning Lab is home to a number of Bristol Aquarium’s babies. Get up close to juvenile seahorses, sticklebacks, sole dab and even baby sharks in our nursery displays.
Make sure you take a good luck at the Glass catfish, fascinating creatures that you can see right through! With this display you will also see bamboo fan shrimp, cherry shrimp and celestial pearl danio’s.

Seahorse talk and feed*** Mon, Wed, Fri, 2:30pm Join us in the Learning Lab as we feed our beautiful pot-bellied seahorses and learn more about this incredible creatures that have fascinated humans for centuries.
Our Big Bellied Seahorses are taking a little holiday whilst we do some routine maintenance on their tank. As we are open 364 days a year tasks like this need to be carried out whilst we are open to the public but we are trying to keep it to a minimum – sorry for any inconvenience!
Caution!Our floor surfaces change throughout the aquarium and for safety reasons we advise visitors not to wear stiletto heels during a visit.
