Carer’s admission
Disabled visitors pay our usual rate of admission, which can be found on our Admission Prices page. A 1:1 registered carer accompanying a paying disabled visitor, with proof of carer status, is admitted free of charge. If any additional carers are required please purchase a Concession ticket.
Customers with a +1 access card are entitled to a free carer ticket to support their visit around the aquarium. Customers with an access card without a +1 are not entitled to a free carer.
Visitors using a wheelchair are entitled to a free carer ticket to support their visit around the aquarium. For further information on the layout of the building please visit our Accessibility page.
Proof of carer status includes Carer’s Allowance Letter, letter from GP or Consultant (dated within the last 12 months) confirming the need for a full time carer.
Bristol Aquarium – Even Calmer Days
More days added! We have recently added more Even Calmer Days to allow visitors to explore the aquarium on weekends. Our new Even Calmer Days are Sunday 5 May, Sunday 30 June, Sunday 1 September.
Our dedicated Even Calmer days create a more relaxing sensory experience for any customers who may need it. We will be turning off our music, and children’s rides as well as increasing our lighting levels for the whole day. We will be open at 10am with late opening until 6pm, last entry 5pm.
