Native Display

From saltmarsh creeks to rocky cliffs to the wide expanses of sandy beaches the UK has one of the most diverse and rich coastlines in the world.

Upon entering the Aquarium visitors are brought face to face with our native species display themed around a sunken ships hull the largest display being observed through a giant reinforced tunnel display window.

With over 350,000 litres of water the central display is one of the most spectacular in the aquarium and home to over 300 fish

• Deadly Weaver Fish
• Our spectacular Jellyfish Display
• Gigantic Spider Crabs

All these can be seen alongside many other weird and wonderful native marine species.

The giant display has also hosted a number of shows including our incredible freediver display alongside informative talks and feeds.
